Report from President Larry Dittloff on last night’s Board Actions:
- Accepted Association Reserves March 4, 2016 study of the Capitol City Golf Course Estates. The 3-minute Executive Summary has been posted to the site.
The study basically says that our current rate of annual assessments of $180.00 that we will not be able to meet defined future financial needs like road maintenance and the like. That possibility could well lead to a a special assessment to pay for major capital items. The Reserve Study will be a topic of discussion at our Annual Members Meeting in November.
- Nearly all of the traffic signs have been replaced with the exception of the stop signs which had to be re- ordered due to the fact that the ones that were delivered were not the correct size. We hope to have all of the sign replacement work completed before the end of June.
- We are accepting quotes for the cleaning of the Estates storm sewers with that worked hopefully being completed before the official start of Summer.
- The new Cut-Out Vehicle Parking Policy was sent to our Attorney for review.
- Bob Moore has resigned from the Board and as Chair of the Architectural Review Committee to pursue some much deserved retirement activities. The Board expressed great gratitude to Bob for his work over the years and wished him great happiness in his future endeavors.
- Darrelyn Nuesca was appointed the new Chair of the Architectural Review Committee. Also serving on that Committee will be Jayne Bradley and Tom LaVack. If any members have an interest in also being on that Committee they should contact Darrelyn.
- In the future the Architectural Review Committee will have complete discretion over the approval of Architectural Applications so that the process can speeded up and to provide better service to the overall Capitol City Golf Club Estates.
The Architectural Review Committee is also developing a new color pallet so that painting requests can be better defined and expedited.
