President Larry’s Reports On Post Office Findings

[March 15, 2017] NOTE FROM PRESIDENT LARRY DITTLOFF REGARDING THE LACEY POST OFFICE:

I recently sent a letter to the Lacey Post Office about erratic mail delivery service at CCGCE. The Lacey USPS Supervisor called me back and we spoke about the many problems that have been registered to me.

My conversation with the Lacey USPS determined:

  • Contrary to popular thought, the CCGCE is not a training area for the Lacey Post Office, but does have a number of different carriers serve the area with a few being recent hires
  • Determined that the bulk of the complaints are in the area of SE Congressional and SE 64th Ave.
  • A single new carrier serves the Congressional and SE 64th Ave. Area
  • The Lacey Post Office is now conducting an investigation and will take appropriate steps
  • Once a final determination has been made and action taken I will report back what was done
